This is completely up to you. However, we ask that you consider pledging 10% of your annual income over a three year period in addition to your regular financial support of the parish.
You are not legally obligated to pledge. It is simply your personal promise.
Instead of, or in addition to cash gifts, you can donate securities, annuities, bequests, vehicles or property. Let us know what you would like to donate, and we will help you make the necessary arrangements.
We are happy to take a one-time payment. However, many people prefer to make payments over time. While three years is the payment span that is most popular, you can certainly make payments over a shorter period. Knowing your pledge amount and span of time allows the parish to accurately estimate our resources for the full project.
Your contributions may be tax deductible due to the non-profit status of the parish (we are an IRS 501(c)(3) organization). However, because tax laws change, and everyone's tax situation is different, we encourage you to consult with your tax specialist for specific details and strategies.
If hard times fall upon you or your family, please reach out to discuss having your pledge intervals and amounts adjusted or even (partially) refunded.
